Description

The SV II is one of the newest lens models on the market from the world-renowned Japanese eyeglass and binocular company, Kowa. Kowa has incorporated its more than half-century heritage into the visual design and construction of these models. The SVII series represents the perfect balance between optical performance on the one hand and low weight/volume and tasteful construction on the other.

Economical, with excellent visual performance
Interior optics is the backbone of every pair of glasses today, and for Kowa, it’s a very important field.
All optical parts in the SV II lenses are made of high quality eco-glass. All surfaces of the lenses are fully poly-coated. In addition, the roof surface of the SVII-series prism has a PHASE COATING that provides sharp images and striking contrast. The eyepieces and lenses are covered by Kowa’s special formula, the KR (Kowa Repelling coating). The KR coating reduces the deposition of grease, liquid or dirt on the surface of the lenses, making them much easier to clean. In addition, the KR coating reduces the risk of scratching or damaging the lens that can be caused by the pressure we apply to remove debris from it. This type of coating is only used on very high-end lenses.

Even if costs were reduced, through the simultaneous development of the product and the choice of a central focusing mechanism, the superior visual performance was maintained without sacrificing important features such as watertightness and dry nitrogen gas scrubbing.

Sharp ergonomic design
The sleek design of the SV II is ideal for bird watching, nature watching or any other outdoor activity. Specially designed holes have been inserted into the rubber casing of the glasses so that you can hold them easily and safely.

Lightweight construction
The lightweight construction of the SV II series allows extensive outdoor use.

Waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas
The binoculars are waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas, which prevents the inner lump.
