Moon observation at the ancient temple Apollo Hylates – 31/08/2023

The Department of Antiquities, Deputy Ministry of Culture invites you to join the celebrations for the second full moon of August, at the Archaeological Site of Apollo Hylates (Episkopi) where the public will be given the opportunity to observe the bright Moon using telescopes in an evening dedicated to the stars, ancient Greek music and poetry. The event will be held under the moonlight and will be accompanied by ancient lyre sounds and poetry.

The House of Science will participate in the event, providing telescopes for observing the Moon and Saturn and giving a short lecture on the constellations
